Prayer is the foundation of our strategy to see the Lower Ramu people groups impacted by the Kingdom of God. Without effective prayer support we are simply wasting our time here. This section of the web site is one of the means by which we will make available up-to-date information about current prayer needs both for our ministry and for the people of the Lower Ramu.

Following are some general prayer and praise items. In addition, you can follow the links on the left to prayer pages for each of the language groups we are targeting. These have information on specific key people, up-coming events, and situations that you can pray for. We will update these pages as new information and needs arise.

Summary: February 2008

Due to the death of Kyle's mom on January 2nd, we had to make an emergency trip back to Illinois. Our family delayed the funeral until we could get back so we were able to be there for that. Now we are spending time with Kyle's dad, just being here to support him and help him with all the legal and financial issues that follow something like this.

Starting the middle of February we will be traveling around to as many of our supporting churches as time allows. It will be great to touch base with our supporters and tell them about what God is doing in the middle Ramu area.

Prayer Points

• Please pray for Kyle's dad as he adjusts to life without his wife of 55 years.
• Please pray that we will continue to be able to support him and assist him at this time.
• Pray for safety in traveling as we start driving around to our supporting churches over the next week.
• Pray too for quality time with our children, Melissa and Tim, and their spouses.
• Finally, please continue to pray for the people groups of the Lower Ramu area (Awar, Marangis, Kayan, Mbore, and Bosmun). Pray that the Lord would give them a hunger for His word and for His kingdom and that He would be preparing a great harvest from among those people.
